Design

The special glass shade is responsible for the fascinating look of the Absolut Lighting Shining ceiling light. The glass is frosted and therefore presents itself in shining white. Its transparent areas are provided with a pattern. A special highlight: the Shining ceiling light is available with seven different patterns that are named after metropolises all over the world. To suit your taste and cultural preferences, this appealing light is offered in the following versions: Brussels, Bombay, Paris, Milan, Cologne, London and – as a special edition – Wonderland. Each version develops its own fascinating charm and a personal touch.

Peter Buning created this playful designer light and thereby won the European innovation competition "NACHLUX 2007".

Shining wall / ceiling light – ornamental lighting

The Shining wall / ceiling light from Absolut Lighting creates a charming illumination by means of light and shadow. While doing so, it projects an ornamental pattern on the wall or the ceiling, depending on the model selected. At the same time, the Shining provides for a harmonious basic lighting within the room. The ceiling / wall light is operated using halogen illuminants. This type of lamps stands for an authentic colour rendering.
