Design

The Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini table lamp marches to a different drummer. The small table lamp does not have the typical spring system typical of the Original series, but is instead equipped with a fixed metal arm. However, the characteristic head of the Original 1227 Mini can be rotated and tilted in the usual way. This is ensured by a filigree metal fork that connects the steel shade to the arm. The base of the Anglepoise table lamp forms a flat pyramid, the tip of which is slightly shifted to the rear. The switch is also located there. All versions come with a shiny varnish.

Original 1227 Mini: needs-based reading light

The Anglepoise 1227 Mini provides direct zone light. This can be adjusted exactly as you need it thanks to the movable diffuser. The Anglepoise table lamp is therefore recommended as a reading lamp for various application scenarios. Since the switch is placed directly on the base, the Original 1227 Mini can also be operated comfortably while seated. The table lamp can either be fitted with an energy-saving lamp or an LED retrofit with E14 socket. In this way, the small designer lamp can be operated at an exemplary level of energy efficiency.
