Design

The Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini desk lamp is round 30% smaller than its big sister, however, by means inferior in terms of design. Just like the original from 1935, the small table lamp is stands out for its puristic industrial design. Furthermore, the Original 1227 Mini desk lamp impresses with high-quality materials. The lampshade with the characteristic flowing shape is made of steel. The arms are manufactured from aluminium, the 2-step square base consists of cast iron with a steel coating, and the fittings are chromed. Lastly, a fabric-covered cable serves as the cherry on top of this extraordinary design. Furthermore, a high-gloss finish underlines the elegant overall appearance of this design classic by automotive engineer George Carwardine.

Original 1227 Mini desk lamp – flexible zone light

In addition to its visual appeal, the Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini desk lamp impresses with an exemplary flexibility. The lamp arm as well as the lampshade are individually adjustable. This allows you to direct the table lamp’s zone in almost any desired direction. The legendary constant spring technology ensures that the lamp remains securely in the selected position. Furthermore, a 180 cm long cable offers flexibility in the positioning of the desk lamp. Flexible is also the choice of suitable illuminants: an E27 socket allows you to equip the Original 1227 Mini desk lamp with various different lamps. For the purpose of saving energy, light11 recommends using an LED filament lamp.
