Design

The Artemide Demetra Faretto wall light is a visually restrained lighting solution. For this, it is particularly suitable for those who prefer an elegant understatement rather than striking extravagance. The unique feature of the Demetra Faretto from Artemide, which in this case is provided with a switch, is the only 1.5 cm thick light head that houses the LED module. Not least because of this, did this wall light receive numerous awards such as the Red Dot Award and the Design Plus Award. The designer Naoto Fukasawa stands for a minimalist approach; his works do not impose themselves but rather impress with their usefulness.

Demetra Faretto with switch – moveable LED light

The Artemide Demetra Faretto with switch is an incredibly flexible wall light. The short arm can be swivelled upwards and downwards. Furthermore, the light head of the Demetra Faretto can be easily rotated around its own axis. Thus, this wall lamp directs its warm-white LED light always to where it is required. Speaking of the LED: it only consumes 9.5 watts to produce a light output of about 400 lumens – this corresponds to the intensity achieved by a conventional 40 W incandescent lamp. This means that the Artemide Demetra Faretto not only is a moveable but also a very energy-efficient light source. The on and off switch on the light head also serves as a dimmer that can be used for adjusting the brightness.
