Design

By means of theArtemide Demetra Micro Parete, Naoto Fukasawa presented a version of his functional light classic Demetra for small desks with only little space. In this case, the design follows the same functional principle as the large model: the function takes centre stage. The Japanese designer deliberately does without any unnecessary details or frills. The result is a wall light with a flat, round light head, which can be flexibly rotated. It is attached to a jointed arm that is held in position by means of a rope pull system. This means that the Demetra Micro Parete qualifies as a precisely adjustable reading light for the workplace. Thanks to a wall bracket, even very crowded tables may be provided with light. Consequently, the wall light from Artemide turns out to be a functional and simultaneously tasteful enrichment for your workplace at home.

Demetra Micro Parete wall lights: excellent adjustability

The Artemide Demetra Micro Parete supplies bright zone lighting directly downwards. Here, the wall light can be flexibly adjusted and therefore supplies needs-oriented reading light. Thanks to an integrated dimmer, the light intensity of the Demetra Micro Parete may also be adapted to suit your personal requirements. Moreover, the wall lamp from Artemide impresses by low power requirements. It only requires six watts to produce 257 lumens. This corresponds to the brightness of a classic 25 W incandescent lamp. Furthermore, the Demetra Micro offers a very good colour rendering index of Ra=90.

Wall lamps for the illumination of small desks

The Artemide Demetra Micro Parete is a practical desk lamp for workplaces that do not offer a lot of space. Attached to the wall, it directs its pleasant warm-white zone lighting exactly to where it is required. This way, the wall light facilitates everyday work. Moreover, its light reduces strong contrasts between light and dark and thereby prevents the eyes from tiring quickly. Moreover, the Demetra Micro is also an adequate replacement for a bedside table lamp. Installed next to the bed, the wall lamp from Artemide offers excellent reading light so that you can spend a pleasant time while reading before falling asleep.
