The round shade and the transparent body of the award-winning Empatia Tavolo LED from Artemide virtually seduce us to touch this table light. This can be attributed to the glass shade which is a masterpiece of Venetian glassblowing. A transparent rod made of polycarbonate is located on the inside. Since the Artemide Empatia Tavolo LED is made by hand, buying this table light means that you become the owner of a real unique piece. The base of the Artemide Empatia, a joint piece by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paola Di Arianello, is made of high-quality, lacquered aluminium.

Empatia Tavolo LED – harmonious mood light

As soon as the Artemide Empatia Tavolo LED is switched on, LED light flows through the "light pipe", a transparent polycarbonate rod with an extremely low absorption coefficient, to the upper side of the glass diffuser from where it is softly diffused into the room. This way, a harmonious, glare-free mood lighting is created. For this purpose, the Empatia Tavolo LED only requires 11 watts and it still achieves a luminous flux of 530 lumens and thereby outperforms a conventional 40 W incandescent lamp. The integrated dimmer allows the brightness to be adjusted to suit one’s personal lighting requirements.
