DesignLike a giant cocoon, the Artemide Falkland Sospensione 165 hangs from the ceiling, and functions as an extraordinary eye-catcher. The pendant light has been inspiring connoisseurs of sophisticated design since 1964 – thus the Artemide Falkland Sospensione 165 is one of the oldest flagships of Italian design. The floor lamp variant of the Falkland even found its way into the La Triennale di Milano design museum in Milan. Its design is as simple as it is impressive: an elastic fabric spans aluminium rings of different sizes, transforming the Falkland pendant luminaire into an artistic, somewhat mysterious object. At 165 cm, this pendant lamp is the largest representative of these pendant lamps created by Bruno Munari.
