Design

The unobtrusive Melete Parete by Artemide is now also available as LED version. Just like the version operated with conventional illuminants, this streamlined wall light consists of a white cuboid that is provided with oval-shaped recesses at the upper and the lower side. The body of the Artemide Melete Parete LED is made of high-quality die-cast aluminium and is coated with a matt white paint that ensures an optimum reflection of the light. For the design of this wall light, the Toso brothers received the renowned Red Dot Award. For the benefit of a purist expressive force, it does not show any superfluous frills that would distract the attention from this wall light. The same applies to the LED version of the Melete Parete, which easily blends into many environments thanks to its discreet colour.

Melete Parete LED – soft ambient light

The warm-white light emitted by this elegant light source escapes through both apertures, while the major part of the glare-free light is directed upwards. Accordingly, only a small portion of the light is emitted downwards, which creates an elegant effect: the housing of this wall light is skilfully highlighted by means of the soft shimmer and thereby turns into an enticing eye-catcher. However, do not let yourself be fooled: despite the small dimensions of the Artemide Melete Parete LED it produces a large amount of light that unobtrusively illuminates the room. Thanks to a powerful LED module, the Melete Parete supplies indirect basic lighting that provides the entire room with glare-free, pleasant light. The integrated LED lamps only require a power input of 29 watts to generate a luminous flux of 2,130 lumens and thereby contribute to protecting the environment.
