In addition to the excellent lighting effect, the Artemide Nur Halo stands out for its dome-like reflector and the use of high-quality materials. For this, it received the German Red Dot Award which is also an internationally renowned quality label. The winning design of the Artemide Nur Halo is a creation by the Italian designer and founder of Artemide Ernesto Gismondi. The stylishly classic design language of these pendant lights conveys a feeling of familiarity. Moreover, the lampshade of the Nur Halo that slightly reminds us of a half of an ellipse scores points with the smooth surface that is kept in a tasteful aluminium grey or anthracite grey colour.

Nur Halo – zone lighting with a touch of ambient lighting

In addition to the visual expressive force, the Artemide Nur Halo also impresses by an excellent lighting effect. The pendant lamp primarily directs its soft light downwards. A small portion of the light is also diffused upwards through the satin-finished cover made of borosilicate glass. This combination of zone lighting being emitted downwards and ambient lighting being emitted upwards creates a pleasant atmosphere within the room that invites you to sit back and relax. The optionally available colour filter – available under "Accessories" – suffuses the inside of the dome with a fascinating blue/red colour and thereby provides for an additional special touch.

The pendant light from Artemide is designed for use with lamps provided with an E27 thread and a maximum power of 250 watts. An alternative to the halogen lamps recommended here which stand for a brilliant colour rendering are energy-efficient, environment-friendly LED retrofit lamps.
