The design of this Artemide Tolomeo Faretto with switch is characterised by elegant minimalism that unobtrusively enriches a wall. Made of fine aluminium this wall light impresses by a harmonised combination of its elements. The design was penned by the legendary designer Michele De Lucchi who created this modern wall lamp classic in 1995. The special feature that wins over the hearts of all aficionados of fine design is the contrast between the satin-finished, velvety surface of the light head and the glossy polished aluminium finish of the wall bracket.

Tolomeo Faretto – flexibility with much style and flair

The Artemide Tolomeo Faretto with switch is a very flexible wall light. Its light head that can be rotated in all directions brings its pleasantly glare-free and soft zone lighting to where it is required. This wall light can be aligned by means of a small metal bracket so that no cumbersome handling is required. The special thing about this light is that there is a small aperture on the light head that allows a touch of ambient lighting to softly illuminate the ceiling.

For the operation of the Artemide Tolomeo Faretto wall light it is recommended to equip the light fixture with halogen illuminants. These light bulbs are appreciated due to their warm-white light and the brilliant colour rendering. An LED version that bears the same name is also available in our shop. This version is not only highly energy-efficient but it is also equipped with a dimmer that allows for a continuous adjustment of the light intensity to suit one’s personal requirements.

Thanks to its exemplary flexibility, the Artemide Tolomeo Faretto is particularly well suited for areas in which reading plays an important role. Above the sofa or an armchair in the living room, for instance, this small light source supplies target-oriented lighting and assists in reading the newspaper. Thus, the Faretto contributes to ensuring well-deserved relaxation after a long day in the office. Next to the bed in the bedroom, this wall light from Artemide also reduces the strain on the eyes by supplying needs-oriented light – for instance, while reading a novel.
