Design

The Artemide Tolomeo Sospensione Diffusore pendant light has been part of the well-known Tolomeo family since 2005. This relatively young member also impresses by its excellent lighting effect as well as the formidable design. The distinguishing feature of this pendant light are the two classically shaped lampshades which are both suspended from the ceiling. They stand out for their special surface and they are available as a parchment or a satin version, as desired. The frame consisting of the pivotable arms and the hinges are made of glossy aluminium. Both shade versions can be obtained with a diameter of 24 cm, 32 cm, 36 cm and 42 cm.

The design of this pendant lamp which is also known under the name Tolomeo Sospensione 2 Bracci was penned by the Italian star designer Michele De Lucchi.

Tolomeo Sospensione Diffusore – adjustable double zone lighting

Thanks to the streamlined, adjustable arms and the fact that the suspension of this light is adjustable in height, the Artemide Tolomeo Sospensione Diffusore pendant light directs its zone light to where it is required – and it offers a double intensity. The refined spring balancing system of this designer light ensures stability in each position. The selection of the lampshade influences the light emitted: parchment provides the light with a slight ochre colour and thereby makes sure that a cosy and warm illumination is created. The satin shade has an aluminium grey colour while it is switched off; as soon as the light is switched on, it almost looks white and supplies a dynamic and bright light.
