Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon 01 LED – a mesmerising floor light

The Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon 01 LED is a fine example of the fascination light can have. This floor luminaire initially requires no light at all to captivate the observer: the Stchu-Moon 01 LED by Catellani & Smith is smooth on the outside, which is kept in black, while enchanting with an inner surface that looks like it has been skilfully chiseled. Its surface is handcrafted (see the video above) and covered with a precious metal foil. Once these floor lights, which are available in many tasteful versions, are switched on, their fascination factor even increases.

Then the light from the small LED hits the "crater landscape" of the Catellani & Smith Stchu-Moon 01 LED. At this moment, when the light rays are reflected, this floor light transforms into an incomparable mood light that gives every room, such as a living room, a unique atmosphere. The Stchu-Moon 01 LED from Catellani & Smith is also often used in a corridor to greet guests in a friendly way.
