Design

As early as 1921, Bernard-Albin Gras designed this wall lamp, which was later to be known under the name of Lampe Gras No 210. Today, the flexible wall light is sold as a re-edition by the French light manufacturer DCWéditions. They paid attention to every single detail in order to maintain a luminaire that is still as durable and functional as it used to be. However, modern trends in the lighting industry, such as the LED technology, have also been taken into account. Furthermore, to add a tasteful touch to the DCWéditions Lampe Gras No 210 wall light a range of colourful shades have been added. Please note that the Copper raw version takes some time to develop the characteristic patina.

Lampe Gras No 210 wall lights: target-oriented reading light

The height of the DCWéditions Lampe Gras No 210 wall light is adjustable along its wall bracket. Furthermore, the jointed arm may be rotated and swivelled, which greatly increases the range of the wall light. The Lampe Gras No 210 directs its pleasantly glare-free light to exactly where it is needed. light11 recommends using a retrofit LED, ideally an LED filament light bulb, for the wall light by DCWéditions. These illuminants do not only have a similar radiation angle to classic illuminants, but are also only slightly heavier. Thereby, the strain on the joints of the wall light is reduced. In addition, these LEDs are highly energy-efficient with an average luminous efficacy of 100 lumens per watt.
