Design

The luminaire body of the Boxy from Delta Light was reduced to a minimum. This is reflected by the purist geometric design with a size of only 9 x 8 x 8 cm. This means that the Delta Light Boxy ceiling light is the right solution for those who prefer a linear, clear look rather than an extravagant appearance. The high-quality surface of this purist light source is available with a matt anodised aluminium or a white or black powder-coated aluminium finish.

Minimalist design

As its name already suggests, the Boxy is a plain, square-shaped box that easily blends with any environment.

Focused light

By means of its reflector lamp, the Boxy provides for focused light where it is required.

Boxy – directed zone lighting emitted downwards

The core competence of the Delta Light Boxy is its focused zone lighting directed downwards. It creates a highlighted area below itself and makes it shine in a bright light. For this purpose, these ceiling lamps can be equipped with different GU10 reflector lamps. Those with a narrow radiation angle offer a highly focused light, while a wide radiation angle ensures the illumination of a larger area. This means that the user may choose the desired lighting effect by choosing a particular illuminant. It is recommended to equip this light with halogen lamps. These impress by their warm-white light as well as an excellent colour rendering.

The installation of the Delta Light Boxy ceiling lights is pleasantly easy since the GU10 illuminants used do not require any transformer and only need to be connected to one power outlet.

Vurdering

Boxy: more than just an ambient light in hallways

The Delta Light Boxy is particularly well suited to supply ambient lighting in hallways and smaller rooms. Here, the ceiling light ensures a lively, welcoming atmosphere within the room, thanks to its focused zone lighting. If a decentralised ceiling outlet is available the Boxy also may take over other tasks. For instance, this ceiling lamp may be installed above a shelf in the living room which it then prominently highlights. It can also be installed above a cupboard, e.g. in the dining room. As seen on one of the pictures on the left, the Delta Light Boxy is also a great enrichment above the worktop in a kitchen.
