Design

The Flos Arco LED is the modern edition of the well-known design classic by Achille Castiglioni from 1962. The new LED version remains true to its course and combines unconventional design with contemporary, energy-efficient technology. Only subtle design nuances of the Arco LED by the Italian light manufacturer Flos were modified and it today still impresses with its elegant, purist style. The precious base made of Carrara marble is no lightweight at about 65 kg. The advantage is that this floor lamp rests on a secure and stable base. Since the base is provided with a continuous bore hole, this floor lamp can be easily moved by two persons with the aid of a suitable bar. The wide-reaching, stainless steel light arm of the arc lamp holds a high-quality aluminium shade that can be adjusted. In 1972, the Arco was included in the permanent exhibition of the MoMA.

Arco LED floor lights: flexible adjustment possibilities for zone lighting

The Flos Arco LED emits its pleasant zone light exactly to where it is required. The extendable shaft allows you to adjust the size of the arc-shaped light arm, independently of the size of the area to be illuminated. Additionally, the reflector of the light head is adjustable as well. Since this floor lamp is equipped with LED lamps it achieves an impressive light output of 1,760 lumens. Thus, the Arco LED by Flos only requires 30 watts to produce more light than a conventional 100 W incandescent lamp. Furthermore, the LEDs of this floor lamps have an excellent colour rendering index of Ra 93.

The light of the Flos Arco LED is emitted downwards and covers a large area. It turns its environment into an atmospheric island of light that invites you to sit back and relax. This imposing floor lamp highlights a dining table or a coffee table with its bright light.
