Design

The Flos Captain Flint LED floor lamp is a fusion of the IC Lights series and the String Light which were also designed by Anastassiades. The conical shade is taken from the cone-shaped version of the String Lights, the principle of the hardly visible attachment reminds us of the IC Lights series. The Captain Flint LED floor lamp from Flos is available in black with a base made of Nero Marquina marble and as a brass version with white Carrara marble.

Captain Flint LED – adjustable LED zone lighting

The light head of the Flos Captain Flint LED presents itself an incredibly moveable component. It can be rotated about the vertical axis so that this floor lamp can be used as an uplighter, as a wallwasher or as a target-oriented zone light. The Captain Flint is equipped with an LED that only requires 20 watts to produce a luminous flux of 1,410 watts. The brightness can be adapted to suit one’s personal requirements by means of the integrated dimmer. The warm-white light produced additionally has a very good colour rendering index of Ra=93.
