Design

The Flos IC Lights T2 consists of a fine, brass-plated frame and an opal diffuser made of hand-blown glass. The table light by the Italian design manufacturer Flos is surrounded by an extravagant aura that results from the combination of clear angles and smooth curves. The design language of the IC Lights T2 reminds us of the designs from the Bauhaus era. If you ask him for his source of inspiration, the designer Michael Anastassiades reveals what actually inspired him to design this filigree table lamp: he observed a juggler who let glass spheres dance over his hands. This fragile balance of the dancing spheres on the street artist’s fingers fascinated him so much that he transferred it onto the shape of the IC Lights series. The IC Lights T2 is offered with brass and chrome surface finishes.

IC Lights T2 table lamps: ambient lighting that can be adjusted as required

The Flos IC Lights T2 diffuses warm ambient lighting in all directions and therefore serves as an elegant light source in various areas. Moreover, the table lamp may be equipped with a very powerful lamp with a power of up to 205 watts. For this reason, light11 recommends using a halogen lamp for the IC Lights T2. Then, the table lamp by Flos has an excellent colour rendering index of Ra=100, which means that colours are reproduced authentically. Furthermore, it supplies warm-white light that creates a cosy atmosphere. Alternatively, the table lamp may also be equipped with an energy-saving LED retrofit lamp. Thanks to an integrated dimmer, the light intensity additionally may be adapted to your personal requirements.
