Design

The Flos KTribe W wall light is a successful combination of classic shapes and modern materials. The French designer Philippe Stark, who is said to be one of the pioneers of contemporary design, has created the KTribe as a successor of the award-winning Miss K. The cone-shaped lamp shade of the KTribe W by Flos is made of vaporised semi-transparent methacrylate held by wall bracket made of aluminium. Upon switching the light on, the second lamp shade on the inside becomes visible. This satin-finished shade functions as a diffuser and provides for optimal glare-control.

Flos KTribe W – pleasant zone and reading light

The light emitted is gently focused upwards and downwards. Thereby, the KTribe W illuminates the area underneath with soft zone light, while supplying some ambient light through the upper light opening in the lamp shade. For soft and pleasant light, a halogen lamp with an E27 base is recommended. With a perfect Ra value of 100, the halogen lamp not only supplies warm-white light but also ensures an excellent colour rendering. Furthermore, The integrated touch dimmer allows you to adjust the brightness as desired.

KTribe W wall lights: not just a gain for the bedroom

For its downwards-directed light, the Flos KTribe W is, for instance, perfectly suited for the bedroom.
