Being a tribute to the incandescent lamp, the Lampadina LED by Flos is a real eye-catcher. The Flos Lampadina LED looks almost as if it is still waiting for the lampshade. In fact, it is basically made of a partially sandblasted LED globe lamp that is screwed into a socket made of Bakelite. The high-quality base of the Lampadina LED by Flos is made of fine aluminium. A practical feature: this base also serves as a cable rewind. The unusual table lamp was created in 1972 by the designer legend Achille Castiglioni. The Italian designer was known for the playful means of misappropriation and the pursuit of reduced shaping. According to Castiglioni, functionality is more important that aesthetics, however, he never neglected the elegance of his design objects – as can be clearly seen when taking a look at the Lampadina LED by Flos. He worked according to this principle into old age. The following quotation accurately reflects the philosophy of this designer icon: "So sophisticated and so simple – I like it!"

Lampadina LED table lamps: economical mood light

Thanks to the sand-blasted matting effect, the Flos Lampadina LED table lamp prevents a direct view of the bright filament. The clear part lets the light pass without hindrance. With its soft light that is uniformly diffused in all directions, this small light source is the ideal mood light, which can be easily controlled via a switch on the lamp socket. The special LED globe lamp consumes only 2 watts to produce a luminous flux of 200 lumens. Thus, the Lampadina LED proves to be extremely energy-efficient, since its light quantity corresponds approximately to that of a 25-watt incandescent lamp.

Table lamps as fancy eye-catchers in any interior

The Flos Lampadina LED is not tied to a specific room. The merely 24 cm tall table lamp can be used wherever a humorous eye-catcher and fascinating mood light is desired. Thus, the Lampadina LED equally comes into its own on a side table in the living room, on a chest of drawers in the dining room or on a bedside table in the bedroom. Furthermore, the table lamp by the Italian light manufacturer Flos also attracts attention on a windowsill or on a desk.
