The sophisticated functionality (precisely described under "Light & lamps") of the Fontana Arte IO wall light LED is complemented by a simple yet extraordinary appearance: a wall bracket, which houses the illuminant, is covered by a curved shade made of die-cast aluminium. What is special is that the lamp shade, which is reminiscent of a saddle, covers the wall bracket and the illuminant completely without touching the wall. The IO wall light LED was conceived by the designer trio Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune in 2015. It comes in four different colours with a white inside surface.

IO wall light LED – flexibly adjustable

The Fontana Arte IO wall light LED supplies indirect, soft zone light. In order to achieve this special lighting effect, the wall light “cooperates” with the wall by focusing its light towards the wall which then reflects it. The reflected light is focused in two opposite directions. By means of a tilt hinge, the lamp shade of the Fontana Arte IO wall light LED is flexibly adjustable. It can be rotated by 360° and tilted, as well. The latter increases or decreases the size of the out coming light beam. In this way, you may adjust the light as desired. For its pleasant light, the Fontana Arte IO wall light uses energy-efficient LEDs, which require only 10 watts to generate a luminous flux of 900 lumens.

IO wall lights as reading lights and decorative elements in the living room and bedroom

The Fontana Arte IO wall light LED is often in the living room. As demonstrated in our product pictures, the wall light supplies flexible reading light next to a couch or an armchair. It also functions as a reading light next to a bed in the bedroom, where it provides for the ideal lighting conditions for reading a book in bed. Furthermore, multiple IO LED wall lights arranged above a sideboard or a chest of drawers create an exciting play of light that catches everyone’s attention.
