The Fontana Arte Yumi Lettura floor lamp attracts attention with its strikingly filigree look. The transition between the light arm and the light head seems to be almost seamlessly. As the name already indicates, the design language of this floor lamp is inspired by a Yumi, a Japanese bow. By means of this, the Japanese designer Shigeru Ban pays tribute to archery which is one of the oldest martial arts of the samurai. The streamlined luminaire body of the Yumi Lettura from Fontana Arte is made of carbon and it is held by a light base with a diameter of 50 cm.

Yumi Lettura – a zone light with a bow shape

The elegant Fontana Arte Yumi Lettura floor lamp emits its light directly downwards within a large radius. This way, it produces a harmonious, focused illumination within the area below it. As it is equipped with modern LED lamps it supplies warm-white light with a colour temperature of 3,000 Kelvin. Furthermore, the integrated LEDs strengthen their reputation as a formidable energy saver: 18 watts are sufficient to produce a light output of 1,105 lumens. This nearly corresponds to the intensity achieved by a 100 W incandescent light bulb. The dimmer included allows the brightness to be adapted to one’s personal requirements.
