The Foscarini Filo Parete is a wall light that has the ability to immediately attract attention: instead of tucking away the supply line as invisible as possible, Andrea Anastasio puts it into the centre of attention by presenting it like a necklace. In line with this, he strung two colourful glass diffusers as "beads" onto the cable, perfecting the necklace look. In this way, the wall light quickly assumes the role of an original wall decoration.
As soon as the Foscarini Filo Parete is switched on, the conical lampshade made of fine porcelain reflects the emitted light downwards and thereby provides for accentuating lighting. The light direction can be adjusted by arranging the cable in a different way. These wall lights, which are available in several different colour combinations, are often used as decorative sources of accentuating zone light, for instance, above a sideboard in the living room or a chest of drawers in the bedroom.
