Design

Andrea Anastasio designed the Fila Tavolo for the renowned Italian luminaire manufacturer Foscarini. The table lamp proves to be an absolutely extraordinary design object in many respects, breaking with our visual habits. The porcelain shade and the textile cable are elegantly arranged and attached to a lacquered metal frame by means of two metal clamps. The deliberately overlong cable, to which two elements made of hand-blown Murano glass are attached, is rolled up and hung on a hook. This transforms the Foscarini Filo Tavolo into an impressive decorative object, which additionally fascinates with its unusual colour combinations.

Filo Tavolo: decorative mood light

The porcelain diffuser of the Foscarini Filo Tavolo points with its opening directly downwards, which harmoniously accentuates the surface beneath the table lamp. At the same time, the shade is gently illuminated, giving the Filo Tavolo's light a particularly cosy flair. The designer luminaire is therefore ideal for mood lighting in living rooms. The table lamp from Foscarini comes with an energy-saving LED retrofit lamp with G9 base for a light source.
