Design

The main characteristic of the Foscarini Gregg Tavolo is its natural appearance. The table lamp looks like an oversized white pebble that has been washed by the flows of a river, leaving it with a clean, flawlessly smooth surface. Its asymmetrical shape underlines this natural look. To achieve it, the Gregg table lamp is manufactured using hand-blown, acid-treated glass which functions as a light diffuser. The white base is made of metal coated with a layer of epoxy resin, and clear injection moulded polycarbonate was used for the bracket that holds the lamp socket. The design of the Foscarini Gregg Tavolo was conceived by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, who are known for designing the famous Birdie product series for Foscarini. The famous designer couple from Milano have been awarded with numerous prises, such as the Compasso D'Oro, Elle Decoration International Design Award, Red Dot, Design Plus, Good Design Award as well as the German Design Award. The Gregg is available in many different versions in our shop: among others, as pendant light, wall-/ceiling light, floor lamp and there is an outdoor version, as well.

Gregg Tavolo – soft light in all directions

The Foscarini Gregg Tavolo emits soft, evenly distributed light in all directions. As medium or large variant, the table lamp offers harmonious ambient light. The small variant emits rather subdued mood light. An integrated dimmer allows you to continuously adjust the brightness to match your personal needs. If you set great store by particularly cosy light, light11 recommends equipping the Gregg with a halogen lamp, which, furthermore, boasts a brilliant colour rendering.

Gregg table lamps for living rooms and bedrooms

Depending on the selected variant, the Foscarini Gregg assumes a different role. The large and medium versions may be placed on a sideboard in the living room to contribute to a harmonious room lighting. An end table, bedside table or chest of drawers in the bedroom, for instance, are suitable locations, as well. The small Gregg Tavolo, on the other hand, is a wonderful source of mood light, which fosters a cosy atmosphere and, due to its compact size, finds a place almost anywhere, such as on a window sill.
