The Foscarini Lumiere XXL Tavolo table lamp introduced in 2009 is the further development of the design classic Lumiere Tavolo from 1990. This slightly modified and larger version is also provided with a diffuser made of double-walled, hand-blown Murano glass. However, the shade of the Lumiere XXL Tavolo has a rather more conical shape. Despite the elegant appearance, it looks a little more introverted than its predecessors, which have a dome-shaped shade. The characteristic tripod made of fine, brushed aluminium, which consists of curved feet in the case of the previous models, has a rather linear shape when you look at the Foscarini Lumiere XXL Tavolo. The base is also available as a black chrome-plated version; the lampshade can be purchased in white, grey or brown.

Lumiere XXL Tavolo – soft zone lighting

Just like its predecessor, the Foscarini Lumiere XXL Tavolo also emits most of its light downwards and ensures harmonious zone lighting. A small part of the light escapes upwards and thereby creates an additional lighting accent. The integrated dimmer allows the light intensity to be continuously controlled and therefore allows you to adapt the brightness to suit your personal requirements. The Lumiere XXL table lamp is supplied excluding the three required lamps, light11 recommends using halogen lamps. These stand for warm-white light with a perfect colour rendering index of Ra=100.
