Foscarini Lumiere XXL Terra

The Foscarini Lumiere XXL floor lamp is the new generation of the Lumiere lights from 1990 which became icons. The diffuser made of double-layered, hand-blown glass – white on the inside, colourful on the outside – presents itself a little more edgy than its predecessor and therefore looks slightly less introvert. While the original version stands on three legs, the Lumiere XXL floor lamp rests on a strikingly flat, round base made of die-cast, lacquered aluminium that was reworked by hand. The Milan designer Rodolfo Dordoni combines classic Italian design with purist minimalism and thereby achieves a timeless, exclusive expression – the Foscarini Lumiere XXL Terra is an impressive proof of this approach.
