DesignThis popular "commissioner’s lamp" became famous in the 1960s, amongst other things, because it could be found on almost every TV investigator’s desk. Numerous criminal cases were solved under the light of the Fritz Hansen Kaiser idell 6631-T Luxus. The new edition of this design icon brings the special charm of this table lamp onto today’s desks. It is absolutely identical to the original in terms of design, quality and artisanal production. The tasteful, formally reduced table lamp is a contemporary witness of the Bauhaus era. Its creator, Christian Dell, worked in the workshop of the Weimar art school of the same name. A defining feature is the asymmetrical high-gloss lampshade which is painted by hand. This also visually influences the elegantly curved, manually polished light arm that is made of pure, chrome-plated brass. The look of the Kaiser idell 6631-T Luxus table lamp is elegantly rounded off by the heavy, round luminaire base that is also provided with a decorative ring that is manufactured from brass and subsequently polished and chrome-plated. The soft, high-quality textile supply line is equipped with an original Duroplast plug and thereby proves its absolute authenticity.
All brass parts of this extraordinary luminaire are chrome-plated and hand-polished. Each 6631-T Luxus is supplied with a certificate of authenticity and is provided with a serial number that is engraved in the base. Furthermore, there is an embossment to be found on top of the lampshade, saying "Original KAISER-idell". The individual joint parts are joined as part of the artistically elaborate silver soldering process. The Kaiser idell 6631-T Luxus comes in various variants, including the original colours.
