Gubi Pedrera H2O table lamp: a Spanish retro classic

Design

The name Pedrera ("quarry"), actually a derisive name for the iconic Casa Milà by Antonio Gaudí, was proudly adapted by this table lamp. It was specially designed in 1955 for the house in the heart of Barcelona by the architects Barba Corsini and Joaquim Ruiz Millet, who were commissioned to renovate the upper floors of the house. However, already in 1991 their work was removed and the original condition was restored. The table lamp, which is now being distributed by Gubi, almost ended up in the garbage. Joaquim Ruiz Millet saved a copy of the Gubi Pedrera H2O table lamp so that it can now be used by future generations. The designer lamp is characterised by its distinctive perforated metal diffuser inspired by the fireplaces of the famous house. The inner diffuser can be replaced or removed as desired.

Pedrera H2O: mood light with an exciting pattern

The Gubi Pedrera H2O provides soft mood light that unfolds a fascinating pattern thanks to the perforated diffuser. The table lamp from Gubi creates an extraordinary atmosphere in the living area. The Pedrera H2O has an E27 socket that can be fitted with a halogen lamp or LED retrofit. This gives you the freedom to customise the table lamp's lighting effect.

Pedrera H2O – table lamps for the living room

The Gubi Pedrera H2O fits perfectly into practically any interior thanks to its graceful dimensions of 33 cm in height and 13 cm in diameter and its well thought-out, discreet design. The table lamp is particularly suitable for use on a sideboard, a chest of drawers and a side table in the living room. The table lamp from the Danish design label Gubi spoils its surroundings with gently scattered mood lighting. The Pedrera H2O also shows off to its best advantage on a bedside table in the bedroom.
