If you look at the Holtkötter Nova uplighter LED, it appears filigree and unobtrusive – nothing indicates the enormous luminous flux that this free-standing luminaire is capable of providing thanks to two energy-efficient LED modules: on the one hand the Nova uplighter LED radiates with a luminous intensity of 7000 lumens upwards, on the other hand with a luminous intensity of 2000 lumen downwards – which results in the powerful luminous flux of 9000 lumen at a total power consumption of 61 watts – an incandescent lamp would need more than 500 watts for this!
But that's not all: the two LED modules are surrounded by a ring-shaped reflector that can be swivelled by 45° in both directions. This allows you to direct the double light of the Holtkötter Nova uplighter in many directions. These large uplights, made of precious materials with elegant surfaces, function on the one hand as indirect room light reflected from the ceiling or wall – depending on how you align the reflector. An integrated touch dimmer allows the light intensity to be regulated. These light fixtures furthermore prove to be flexible reading lights that can be used, for example, in the study next to the desk.
