Ingo Maurer Kokoro Gulvlampe LED

Based on the traditional Japanese textile dying techniques and inspired by the designer legend Isamu Noguchi, Dagmar Mombach and the team around Ingo Maurer developed The MaMo Nouchies® light series. Kokoro is part of this fascinating, organic lights. Just like all MaMo Nouchies®, each Kokoro is a unique piece.

In a complex, purely manual production process, common paper sheets are folded and pulled in up to eight working steps to finally achieve the shape that is reminiscent of a waving banner. Graceful and light, the Kokoro floor lamp emits warm diffuse ambient lighting. An adjustable mirror invites you to play with the light. The base of the Kokoro is made of metal, while the shade holder was manufactured from stainless steel. In order to protect the paper, moisture, extreme solar radiation and strong draughts should be avoided.
