Design

The IP44.de Intro combines smooth, round shapes with geometric rigour. Additionally, it fulfils the highest requirements in terms of lighting quality, thanks to the IvyLight technology. IP44.de based in Rheda-Wiedenbrück in East Westphalia (Germany) stands for hand-made exterior lights which impress with an excellent lighting effect and noble design, true to the corporate philosophy of company founder Bernd Schmalhorst who once said: "Every Space Deserves Great Light". This also applies to the Intro light made of solid stainless steel and glass. For instance, this wall light also withstands adverse weather conditions and enriches the house facade with its elegant design that equals the design of an interior light. It is available with tasteful anthracite, white, brown as well as brushed stainless steel surface finishes.

Intro wall lights: efficient outdoor lighting

The elegant, sober shape of the IP44.de Intro is combined with a remarkable functionality. Thus, the distinctively curved front panel made of high-quality stainless steel surrounds the illuminant that is located inside and thereby protects the eyes from unpleasant blinding effects. Here, the warm-white light of the integrated LEDs is reflected by the inner surface and then directed upwards and downwards. This way, a harmonious, accentuating illumination is created outdoors. Furthermore, the wall light from IP44.de impresses by its IvyLight technology. It stands for a holistically attuned colour, temperature and chip management that makes the LEDs particularly efficient and resistant. For this, the Intro only requires 7.5&watts to produce a luminous flux of 610 lumens. The heat management protects the LED lamps of the IP44 Intro from overheating and thus prevents premature aging. Thanks to this, the light-emitting diodes of this wall light offer a service life of 50,000 hours. These wall lamps are designed in accordance with protection type IP65 which means that they are dust-proof and protected against water jets. An anodised coating not only prevents the formation of rust but also protects the light from most chemical substances.

Versatile wall lamps with a feel-good factor

The IP44 Intro is suitable for many areas of application. The wall light with a two-sided light emission cuts a particularly well figure, for instance, in the area of a house entrance. Here, it creates a welcoming island of light that not only makes a long search for the keys in front of the door a thing of the past but that also shows your guest the way to your home. Additionally, steps that often present a tripping hazard can also be skilfully illuminated by the Intro. A further advantage: an illuminated entrance area also keeps unwanted guests that prefer operating in the dark at a pleasant distance. The IP44.de light also provides a balcony or a terrace with pleasant illumination and adds a decorative touch to this area – this makes a gathering with friends at late hours much more pleasant.
