Design

The Louis Poulsen Panthella Mini T is a creation by the Danish designer, Verner Panton. His works had a great influence on designs during the second half of the 20th century. He turned away from right angles and focused on organic forms, vibrant colours and new materials. The Panthella Mini T is no exception. The table lamp consists of a hemispherical shade, topped with a small sphere. The shade is connected to the trumpet-shaped lamp base. The table lamp by Louis Poulsen is made of steel and available in numerous colours. However, the opaline version is made of acrylic, which creates a special lighting effect.

Panthella Mini T table lamps: pleasant zone lighting and reading light

The Louis Poulsen Panthella Mini T emits its light directly downwards. Solely the opaline version provided with an acrylic shade diffuses a soft shimmer to the sides. The Panthella Mini T is equipped with efficient LEDs that only consume ten watts to generate a luminous flux of 400 lumens. This is nearly equivalent to the light intensity of a classic 40 watts incandescent lamp. Thus, the table lamp by Louis Poulsen is exceptionally economical. Furthermore, you may easily change the light intensity to match your needs by means of an integrated dimmer.
