The decorative PH 3/2 pendant light by Louis Poulsen is a successor to the legendary PH 5 from 1958. It likewise impresses with a multi-layer lampshade, which is consists of three differently sized shades arranged on top of each other for a high-quality lighting effect. The lampshades of the Louis Poulsen PH 3/2 pendant light are manufactured from hand-blown triple-layer opal glass. The suspension is made of drawn brass, ultimately turning the pendant light by Louis Poulsen into a decorative lighting solution for the living area.

PH 3/2: perfect glare control thanks to a time-tested lampshade system

The system of differently sized lampshades is based on the logarithmic spiral with an illuminant in the centre. This means that the pendant light basically illuminates itself, as the three shades reflect the light multiple times before releasing it mainly downwards and to a small extent also to the sides. In this way, the PH 3/2 creates soft, glare-free lighting that contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. light11 recommends equipping the pendant light by Louis Poulsen with an E27 halogen lamp.

The Louis Poulsen PH 3/2 is especially appreciated in the dining room. Suspended above a dining table, the creation by Poul Henningsen accentuates the food and drinks on the table with pleasant light.
