Design

High-quality materials manufactured into a sophisticated form: the Louis Poulsen PH 3½ - 2½ floor lamp. As all the luminaires in the PH range, the lamp shade of this standard lamp is based on Poul Henningsen’s glare control concept, where the light source is placed in the centre of differently sized shades that lie on top of each other. In addition, the light emitted is softly diffused by the three-layered, hand-blown opal glass which is used for the manufacturing of the shades whose surface is matt on the bottom side and shiny on the topside. The pole of the PH 3½ - 2½ is not any less impressive, with a robust core made of brass and steel finished with light or dark chrome. In this way, the standard lamp by the Danish light manufacturer Louis Poulsen quickly becomes an elegant eye-catcher in any environment.

PH 3½ - 2½: soft, glare-free reading light

The Louis Poulsen PH 3½ - 2½ emits its light directly downwards. In doing so, the glass shade itself is gently illuminated. In combination with its perfect glare control, the floor lamp is ideally suited to be used as a reading light. As for the illuminant, the PH 3½ - 2½ can be equipped with any lamp with an E27 base. This offers you a great choice of different lamp types, such as a classic halogen bulb or a modern LED retrofit lamp.
