In the creation of the Louis Poulsen Yuh table lamp LED, the Danish-Italian designer duo GamFratesi were inspired by the grandees of Scandinavian lighting design. So is the asymmetrical shade reminiscent of the famous AJ T by Arne Jacobsen. The clever glare control concept is based on Poul Henningsen’s PH series. In this way, the Yuh LED by the Danish light manufacturer Louis Poulsen combines the concentrated competence of Scandinavian designer legends into a sophisticated table lamp with a timeless charm.

Yuh LED: adjustable zone light

The Louis Poulsen Yuh LED supplies bright zone light and consumes only little energy in doing so. The appealing lamp shade can be moved up and down along the perpendicular pole and its angle can be changed, as well. This allows you to adjust the size of the light beam and its direction as desired, which is particularly important for reading and working at a desk. A button on top of the stem serves as a switch and a dimmer, by means of which you can adjust the brightness continuously between 15 and 100%. Furthermore, the Yuh LED comes with a built-in timer that switches the table lamp off after either four or eight hours. In addition to its sophisticated technology, the desk lamp by Louis Poulsen impresses with an exemplary energy efficiency thanks to a state-of-the-art LED module.

Yuh LED – table lamps for the desk

The Louis Poulsen Yuh LED is ideally placed onto a desk in the study. There, the table lamp serves as a decorative accessory and a practical light assistant at the same time. In doing so, the Yuh LED directs its light exactly where it is needed. Naturally, the table lamp by Louis Poulsen also cuts a fine figure as a reading light and decorative object on a side table in the living room.
