The Luceplan Costanza Terra with telescopic stem is a design by Paolo Rizzatto from 1986. This floor lamp was honoured for its excellent design language and the brilliant light dynamics, for instance, with the coveted design award Concours de la Création Artistique SIL/Paris. The successful design classic from Luceplan has lost none of its fascinating charm today and still is a popular lighting solution for modern and classic interior styles. A particular feature is the easy-to-clean lampshade of the Costanza Terra that only rests on two points of balance and that is capable of oscillating if bumped. The body and the shade of the Luceplan Costanza Terra with telescopic stem are available in eleven different versions, e.g. sea green or fog white.

Costanza Terra with telescopic stem and touch dimmer – flexible illumination thanks to the adjustable shade

The Costanza Terra with telescopic stem represents an extraordinarily appealing lighting solution with its skilful combination of zone and ambient lighting. Thanks to the telescopic arm that can be easily adjusted in height, the diameter of the light cone can be easily adapted to suit one’s personal requirements. Thus, the Luceplan Costanza Terra with telescopic stem always directs its light exactly to where it is required. Since this floor lamp also emits its light towards the ceiling the surrounding area is also supplied with smooth, pleasant ambient lighting. This means that the Costanza Terra with telescopic stem from Luceplan combines two lighting effects which can be even further adapted to suit one’s individual demands by means of the integrated touch dimmer. This dimmer allows the light intensity to be continuously adjusted with the aid of a touch so that it can be adapted to any requirements. It is recommended to equip this light with a halogen lamp. This type of lamps is known for its excellent colour rendering. As it is designed in accordance with protection class II this floor lamp offers a double insulation.
