Design

The Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken is well-known for his innovative ideas. This is impressively demonstrated by the Counterbalance Parete. With its nearly 2 m long arm and a sophisticated counterbalance system, the wall light by the Italian light manufacturer Luceplan juts far into the room. In this way, the Luceplan Counterbalance Parete has the elegance of a weightless object and immediately attracts everyone’s attention. Moreover, the lamp arm combines filigree elegance with high flexibility and leaves no wish unfulfilled. Regarding the quality of materials, the wall light does not cease to impress: the lamp arm and the counterweight are made of black-painted steel while the lamp head is made of precious aluminium.

Counterbalance Parete wall lights: efficient and flexible zone light

There are some good reasons for purchasing a Luceplan Counterbalance Parete. Firstly, the wall light stands out for its extraordinary flexibility. Thanks to a smooth gear wheel system, the light arm can be easily aligned. In this context, you do not have to worry about a lack of safety due to the delicate appearance of the Counterbalance Parete: a counterbalance located in the vicinity of the wall bracket makes sure that the diffuser and the light arm are held securely. A further advantage is the luminaire’s extraordinary efficiency: the integrated LED requires not more than 12 watts to produce a luminous flux of 800 lumens. For comparison: this is more than a conventional 60 W incandescent lamp usually achieves. The wall light by Luceplan is particularly well suited for rooms that are not equipped with a proper wall outlet and where larger distances must be covered.

Wall lamps for needs-oriented lighting in areas that are difficult to access

In the study, this wall light may “lean” over the desk and supply the working area with focused light. Thus, the Luceplan Counterbalance Parete increases the level of concentration and prevents your eyes from overtiring. The individual illumination provided by this wall light offers a practical solution when installed above the dining table. Speaking of practical: the flexible light source also cuts a great figure as a reading light. While it provides for adjustable zone lighting next to an armchair or a sofa, it effectively illuminates a book or the newspaper and thus makes sure that you have a relaxing time while reading.
