Design

The Lumina Elle 2 has a delicate and purist appearance. It is up to 2 m high and offers a reach of more than one metre thanks to its graceful hinged arm. But this is not all: the entire body of the Elle 2 from the design company Lumina can be inclined slightly forwards to achieve an even greater radius of activity. Here, the sophisticated light head definitely forms the central part of the design by Tommaso Cimini, the founder of Lumina. Framed by a metal strip, the light head of this floor lamp is provided with a concentric finned screen and a practical handle on the bottom end that allows the light direction to be adjusted while you are seated. On the top end, however, you can take a look at the illuminant of the arc lamp. In order to make sure that the Elle 2 can blend with as many interior designs as possible, it is offered in three timeless colours: white, nickel, black.

Elle 2 floor lamps

With its imposing height the Lumina Elle 2 provides for exemplarily needs-oriented lighting. Here, a black screen grid ensures a pleasant glare control for the zone lighting directed downwards. Furthermore, the floor lamp emits soft and uniform light upwards and thereby supplies indirect ambient lighting. A practical feature: by means of the moveable light arm, the light emitted by the Elle 2 from Lumina can be directed to where it is required. Thanks to an integrated dimmer on the supply line, the brightness can be additionally adjusted to suit one’s personal requirements. Thus, this floor lamp represents a successful combination of excellent flexibility and pleasant lighting effect. The 230 W halogen rod is included in the scope of supply of this arc lamp.

Elle 2 floor lamps: comprehensive lighting for many purposes

With its unobtrusively attractive look the Lumina Elle 2 cuts a particularly fine figure in a representative room such a living room. Owing to its impressive height and the wide reach, this floor lamp serves as a practical replacement for a pendant light wherever no suitable ceiling outlet is available. This means that this arc lamp is used to supply conveniently adjustable zone lighting above a coffee table in a living room as well as above a dining table in the dining room. Furthermore, its focused light directed downwards is an ideal solution to supply reading light next to an armchair or a sofa. Thus, the Elle 2 from Lumina guarantees a pleasant time while you are reading a book, the newspaper or a magazine. Moreover, this floor lamp may also act as a floor uplighter when it emits pleasant, bright light upwards which is then reflected as soft ambient lighting into the room. Consequently, a harmonious basic lighting is created that ensures a pleasant ambience within the room.
