The Lumina Matrix Mono wall lamp reminds us slightly of the little helper of Gyro Gearloose: a lamp as head and a movable body. The small sconce concentrates on the essentials, the Matrix Mono does not need a housing to accommodate the lamp. Its simple design also provides a certain flexibility. Depending on the choice of light source, you can give this minimalist light dispenser its own personal character. You can use conventional incandescent lamps, globe lamps, halogen lamps, energy-saving lamps, LED retrofit lamps or LED filament lamps. The latter provide a charming nostalgia factor. Just let your creativity run wild. The arm of the Lumina Matrix Mono consists of a crossed stainless steel frame, wall bracket and lamp socket are made of metal. This unusual sconce was designed by Yaacov Kaufmann, who also designed the famous Matrix Otto chandelier for Lumina.

Matrix Mono – flexible lamp arm

The Lumina Matrix Otto is an adjustable wall and ceiling lamp. Its arm can be aligned in different directions to provide individual lighting. As there is neither a reflector nor a lampshade, the illuminant to be used can emit its light freely. The light characteristic depends on the choice of light source. light11 recommends using a globe incandescent lamp for operating the Matrix Otto, which achieves excellent colour rendering and provides cosy, warm white light. LED retrofit or filament lamps – also offer this advantage, with the added advantage that they also impress with their high energy efficiency. If you value personal brightness adjustment, you can equip the Lumina Matrix with a leading-edge dimmer.

Matrix Mono sconces for reading and accentuating

The Lumina Matrix Otto is used in many rooms. In the living room it creates inviting islands of light on a couch or armchair, in whose flexible glow you can also read comfortably. This wall lamp also assumes the function of a targeted reading light in the bedroom when mounted near the bed. If you want to accentuate a particular item of furniture, the Matrix Mono is also a great choice, for example when it comes to prominently highlighting a shelf or a beautiful painting.
