Design

The extremely flat lampshade of the Marset Ginger 32 pendant light LED is the distinguishing feature of this designer light. It is manufactured in a high-pressure process in which several layers of wood and paper are pressed together. Thus, the lampshade of the Ginger 32 pendant light LED is only delicate 4 mm thick. This turns the pendant light into a graceful luminaire that almost seems to float weightlessly in the air. The characteristic bend in the suspension lends the Ginger a dynamic appearance. A round reflector underneath the shade houses the modern LED module. The pendant light, which was penned by Joan Gaspar, is available in oak and wenge. Its name is a reference to the famous drummer Ginger Baker.

Ginger 32 pendant light LED: soft downward zone light

The Marset Ginger 32 pendant light LED does not solely rely on a decorative appearance. When it is switched on, the pendant luminaire first emits light upwards from the reflector, where the light of the LED module is reflected back from the white painted inside of the lampshade. The result is a soft zone light directed downwards. This requires very little energy: just 7.8 watts is enough for the Ginger 32 pendant light to generate an impressive 1066 lumens. This saves precious energy, lowering your energy costs and protecting the climate and environment. The Marset Ginger 32 pendant light LED can be retrofitted with a leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmer so that you can adjust the brightness to your own requirements.
