Design

The Santorini outdoor light by Marset features two polycarbonate shades that can be variably arranged during assembly. This determines the final appearance of this chic garden lamp, inspired by lanterns that fishermen take with them on their fishing trips. The bottom end is equipped with a diffuser made of pressed glass. The Marset Santorini is named after a famous Greek archipelago. The lampshades are available in different colours.

Santorini: adjustable lighting effect

The lighting effect of the Marset Santorini depends on the arrangement or orientation of its reflectors. Since the light source is surrounded by a glass diffuser, this outdoor light always provides a soft light. How and in what radius the upwards directed part of the light is reflected depends on the order and orientation of the shades. The Marset Santorini can be used in two ways. On the one hand it can be placed on the floor, on the other hand it can be suspended thanks to the included loop. This can be done outdoors without any worries, as, according to protection class IP 65, it is both dustproof and protected against water jets.

The Marset Santorini can be used in many outdoor areas due to its weather resistance. It can be used, for instance, on a terrace or balcony, where it accompanies social gatherings with cosy light. In the garden, it can be used to highlight seating areas, decorations or plants by immersing them in a bright bath of light, either by placing the Santorini on the floor or by hanging it with the included loop like a garland around a pole, rope or similar.
