The characteristic, cone-shaped shade of the Marset Tam Tam P that is covered with a satin-finished methacrylate diffuser at the bottom reminds us of drums. Its creator Fabien Dumas was inspired to create this classic when he took a walk through the Mauerpark in Berlin. Here, he observed various drummers who partly set up entire percussions. This is when he got the idea to design a light based on the principle of drums. The floor lamp from Marset bears its onomatopoeic name with good reason. The light’s shade may be rotated on the perpendicular metal shade as required. Furthermore, the Tam Tam P is offered in many different colours such as orange, blue or green.

Marset Tam Tam P floor lamps: flexibly adjustable reading light

The Marset Tam Tam P offers flexibly adjustable zone lighting. This is possible thanks to the floor lamp’s shade that can be rotated as required. It additionally offers high operating comfort since its size of 1.16 m allows you to operate the light while you are seated. The switch of the Tam Tam P located on the top side of the shade. Furthermore, the floor lamp from the Spanish light manufacturer Marset can be operated using a lamp with an E14 base. light11 recommends using an LED retrofit for the floor lamp. These only require little energy and therefore reduce the impact on the environment and are beneficial for the household budget.
