Design

Designed in 1968, the Martinelli Luce Cobra table lamp embodies design history. It is considered the first luminaire that has been manufactured from synthetic resin in an injection moulding process. With its natural sleek shape, the Cobra table lamp is reminiscent of a an erected snake, thus living up to its name. The design is by Elio Martinelli, and is available in timeless colours. By the way, this design classic has already played parts in several movies, such as Men in Black starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.

Cobra table lamp – flexibly adjustable zone light

The Martinelli Luce Cobra table lamp not only lives up to its inspiration in terms of aesthetics, but also with regards to agility. Its shade rotates 360° so that individual lighting is possible at any time. Thus, the light of the Cobra table lamp can, for instance, be directed at a selected object for accentuated lighting. The Martinelli Luce Cobra is supplied without lamps. We recommend equipping the E27 socket with an energy-saving lamp. This ensures a high luminous efficacy at a low consumption, saving precious energy.
