DesignWhen purism is mentioned in describing a luminaire, the probability is high that the lights of Mawa Design are meant. In the case of the Mawa Wittenberg 4.0 ceiling light oval with two spots LED, the luminaire manufacturer from Brandenburg is once again presenting a product that appeals with contemporary technology and elegant, unobtrusive aesthetics. The double spotlight consists of an oval, compact aluminium housing with two cylindrical spotlight heads. The minimalist design language is underlined by the visible absence of screws and cables. Not least for this, designer Jan Dinnebier received the German Design Award 2018. Incidentally, the Wittenberg 4.0 ceiling light oval LED owes its name to the fact that the original model of this successful series was first used in the Luther House in Wittenberg, a World Heritage site.
