Design

The Moooi Non Random Light designed by Bertjan Pot reminds us of a ball of wool that was woven using fine threads. This pendant light owes this look to a complex manufacturing process: the shade of this pendant light is made of fibreglass threads that are saturated with a synthetic resin fibre and that are wrapped in a regular pattern around an inflated ball. As soon as the synthetic material has hardened, the ball is deflated leaving a timelessly graceful pendant lamp. The ceiling rose and the bracket for the socket of the Non Random Light are made of painted stainless steel and chrome. The pendant light from the Dutch design label Moooi is available in black and white with a shade diameter of either 48 cm or 71 cm.

Non Random Light pendant lights: harmoniously diffused ambient lighting in all directions

Due to the permeable structure of the Moooi Non Random Light, the light is emitted in all directions and an impressive play of light and shadow is created. Thanks to an E27 socket, this pendant light can be equipped with a classic halogen light source as well as an economical LED retrofit. light11 recommends using an LED retrofit lamp with an excellent colour rendering index that is greater than or equal to 95. The Non Random Light from Moooi is supplied with a cable length of 400 cm and can therefore also be installed in rooms with high ceilings.
