Modul Q 36 wide beam, for direct mounting – even and broad lighting
The acrylic glass diffuser of the Nimbus Modul Q 36 contains countersunk points that make sure that 95 % of the light is directly emitted downwards. Only a small portion of the light escapes to the sides and thereby provides for an indirect illumination of the ceiling. The light emitted downwards has a wide radiation angle so that the light is distributed as broadly and uniformly as possible in a defined area. The Nimbus Modul Q 36 wide beam version for direct mounting impresses by its excellent LED technology. The lamps only require a power input of 8 watts to produce 546 lumens. This exceeds the light intensity of a conventional 40 watts incandescent lamp. Thereby, the ceiling light reduces the impact on the environment and saves energy costs at the same time. Moreover, Nimbus ensures by means of a process called "binning" that all LEDs in one Modul Q 36 have the same light colour and intensity.
A converter is required for operating this ceiling light. It is not included in the scope of supply and must therefore be acquired separately. Furthermore, the Nimbus Modul Q 36 wide beam version for direct mounting can be connected to a suitable external dimmer. This way, the brightness of the light source can be flexibly adapted to the personal requirements of the user.
