Design

High technology and an elegantly purist look are the distinguishing features of the Roxxane Home table lamp by the Stuttgart-based LED specialist Nimbus. The table lamp was created by the designer Rupert Kopp and turns out to be a future-oriented workplace and desk lamp. This is not only based on the futuristic look of theNimbus Roxxane Home table lamp with base which reminds us of a robot arm but also on its high-quality workmanship and the sophisticated lighting technology. The light head and arms of the table lamp are made of high-quality aluminium. The base plate is made of lacquered steel. This luminaire is available with three timeless surface finishes: white, black and anodised silver.

Roxxane Home table lights: exemplary LED technology

The Nimbus Roxxane Home table lamp impresses by an exemplary user friendliness. The finely calibrated 3D friction joints that perfectly harmonise with one another allow for a smooth-running adjustment of the light fixture: for instance, the light head can be rotated by 270°. This means that the Roxxane Home always supplies bright zone lighting wherever it is required. Even more: a non-contact gesture control system allows the intuitive operation of the table lamp from Nimbus. A wiping movement activates the infrared sensor, which then switches the table lamp on or off. By holding your hand above the sensor, the light intensity can be controlled. This luminaire also does not need to hide itself away in terms of the light emission: its diffuser made of polycarbonate ensures a pleasantly glare-free light and focuses the light emitted directly downwards. This way, the eyes are protected from tiring early and your concentration remains on a high level for a longer period of time. Finally, the Roxxane Home also impresses by its low energy requirements. It only requires 7.5 watts for a luminous flux of 413 lumens.
