DesignThe Slamp La Lollo pendant light M LED is a fascinating creation by Lorenza Bozzoli, which owes its attractiveness to the special materials used in the manufacturing of this light fitting. The chandelier, consisting of asymmetrically arranged cylinders, is made of materials that are specially developed and patented by Slamp. Opalflex®, for instance, is a mixture of technopolymers and glass crystals. Cristalflex® is a crystal clear plastic that is characterised by a shimmery surface and certain airiness. Then there is Lentiflex®, a prism-like plastic with a chromatic, iridescent effect. Especially the gold version of the La Lollo is reminiscent of the grand chandeliers that adorned theatre foyers in the 1960s and 1970s. In this way, the pendant light evokes associations with the movie stars of that time and in fact owes its name to the legendary Italian actress, Gina Lollobrigida.
