As the name already suggests, the Tecnolumen Bauhaus HMB 25/300 pendant light is a testimony of one of the most important design eras: The Staatliches Bauhaus (1919-1933) in Weimar was a German art school that shaped artistic and architectural thinking and work worldwide and laid a significant foundation stone for the modern era. The hallmarks of those designs were tasteful simplicity and a focus on functionality. The Bauhaus HMB 25/300 pendant light, designed in 1925 and faithfully reproduced by Tecnolumen, also embodies this design approach with a clear but elegant design language.
The pendant light consists of a hemispherical purist lampshade, with the E27 illuminant being discreetly housed in a cylindrical element, in which the supply line leads. The Tecnolumen Bauhaus HMB 25/300 pendant light emits its light directly downwards, where it sets the stage, for instance, for a dining table with accentuating light. The design was penned by Marianne Brandt (1893-1983) and Hans Przyrembel (1900-1945).
